WHITE RABBIT FESTIVAL OF SHOWCASES 2023

Exchange Theatre

Friday 9th June - Thursday 15th June

3 evenings of brand new plays, devised, designed and performed by White Rabbit Drama pupils.

2 clubs perform each night, with no more than 30 per cast and tickets for up to 8 friends and family included.

Feeling relaxed is one of the most important aspects of acting and in order for the children to feel calm, confident and non-pressured, we offer independent rehearsal time in the theatre for each group, with their regular facilitators and a supportive Exchange technician, at a time that works for them.

Cost:

Showcase is a non-profit event and with the support of parents, the Exchange, and our friends in the arts community, we charge no more than £40 per child to take part in the experience. This is a one off payment, including up to 8 tickets to the show per family and, in keeping with our ethos, there are no 'hidden extras'. We also offer bursaries for those who need, making this an open and inclusive event for all to enjoy, regardless of their means.

Theatre Club is BACK!

We've enjoyed some great Unicorn Theatre trips this year!

Pinocchio - Saturday 12th November, 2022. 1pm

(Age 7+)

ONCE UPON A TIME THERE WAS A LONELY CARPENTER, A CURIOUS CAT, AND A LITTLE WOODEN PUPPET WHO ONE DAY CAME TO LIFE...

This Christmas join us for a spectacular new version of the much-loved classic tale as Pinocchio discovers why it’s best to always tell the truth.

With a touch of magic from the blue fairy, enter a world of gingerbread villages and snow-capped mountains in this adventure of friendship and family.

With special thanks to Charles Holloway, Christmas Production Partner

a true reflection of the Unicorn's aim to create engaging and unpatronising theatre for young audiences.

London New Years Day Parade

On 1st January 2020, White Rabbit joined forces with dance troupes, a marching band, horses from Royal Parks and the Mayor, in representing the Borough of Richmond Upon Thames at LNYDP 2020. Team Richmond secured 2nd place in the Parade's Borough Competition, winning £9000 for the Mayoral charities and footage of the event was captured by US TV channels and London Live. We're so delighted to have been part of this amazing experience and so proud of the children who joined us and took part with such confidence in front of thousands of spectators - what an incredible achievement!
