Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There, Lewis Carroll
White Rabbit is a fun & engaging drama club for children & young people, offering weekly sessions and holiday workshops in; Acting, Storytelling, Devising, Improvisation and Prop making from 4-16 years. Our aim is to encourage individuals to trust in their own ideas and creative instincts, offering experiences that are as unique & inspiring as the pupils we teach.
We believe in the power of Drama to improve & develop all of the below and more:
Teamwork
Support
Connection
Active-Listening
Empathy
Confidence
Concentration
Playfulness
Kindness
Resilience
The safety of children and young people is at the heart if everything we do and all White Rabbit teachers and assistants hold Enhanced DBS certificates. Classes are run with at least one first aider present in every room (12hr paediatric first aid certificate) and with leaders who have successfully completed training in Level 2 and 3 Safeguarding for Children. We adhere to NSPCC recommended adult:child ratios and our core team constantly strive to become the best facilitators they can be; taking part in regular CPD training, working alongside arts charities and leaders in children's theatre education, and developing their own devising, improv and writing skills outside of the drama room.
We hope to meet you soon!

We feel very lucky to have the support of our local community, with many children continuing at White Rabbit throughout their entire school lives and positive 'word of mouth' helping us to welcome new members each term. We opened our first club in January 2017, following a series of free workshops in local schools and, with just 8 pupils signed up and £30 to pay for an hour of room hire, we quit our day jobs and took a leap of faith. Word spread, the club grew and soon we were adding more halls and studios to our timetable. We vowed to create the supportive, kind, creative space that we wished we had when we were younger and with 250 children now entering our studios each week, our commitment to this goal has grown. Thank you to those who have supported us on this joyful journey and a big warm 'welcome' to all those we're yet to meet! Anna & Katie
